Nortriterpenoids from the Fruiting Bodies of the Mushroom Ganoderma resinaceum.
Ganoderma resinaceum is usually used as ethnomedicine for immune-regulation, hyperglycemia, and liver disease. To date, only a few chemical constituents have been reported from G. resinaceum. In this study, fifteen nortriterpenoids including six new nortriterpenoids (1-6) and nine known analogs (7-15), were separated and purified from the fruiting bodies of G. resinaceum. New compounds were ide...

Two new highly oxygenated lanostane triterpenoids, ganoderic acid AP2 (1) and ganoderic acid AP3 (2), were isolated from the fruiting bodies of the fungus Ganoderma applanatum (Ganodermataceae), along with four known analogues, ganoderenic acids A, B, D and G (3-6). The structures of the new compounds were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis.

A polysaccharide named GSP-2 with a molecular size of 32 kDa was isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma sinense. Its structure was well elucidated, by a combined utilization of chemical and spectroscopic techniques, to be a β-glucan with a backbone of (1→4)- and (1→6)-Glcp, bearing terminal- and (1→3)-Glcp side-chains at O-3 position of (1→6)-Glcp. Immunological assay exhibited that GSP...
متن کاملSelective irreversible inhibitors of aldose reductase.
A series of 5-substituted-1,3-dioxo-1H-benz[de]isoquinoline-2(3H)-acetic acid analogues have been examined as irreversible inhibitors of aldose reductase. The 5-alpha-bromoacetamide and 5-alpha-iodoacetamide analogues 5 and 6 gave irreversible inhibition of aldose reductase while the 5-alpha-chloroacetamide analogue 3 did not show this type of inhibition. Protection studies indicate that irreve...
